Audere Est Facere
I went with Teen Missions because when I was seven years old I came across a yellow brochure from my mom’s mission trip with them in the early eighties (scary, I know). I was so taken with the idea that I scotch-taped that thing next to my headboard and started to beg to go on a mission trip. For some reason, it was some years before I actually went with Teen Missions. I almost went to Scotland with them in 2006, then just didn’t apply. When I got the catalog for 2007, I saw Egypt and just thought, “Why yes. Heck yes.”

Hi Wendy! I googled myself and found this blog haha. Egypt was epic. I think before our trip I found this too. What does surgout prosim mean? Will you send me that paper you wrote about boot camp? I would love to read it. Hope you’re doing well
Hello Cecily! So glad you dropped by.
Surgo ut prosim is Latin for “I Rise that I Might Serve.” And I will definitely send you the paper, but don’t judge me! lol.
Can you send me your email address, though?
